UCJCI truly feels like a family across all our churches.
The UCJCI stands for the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, a union denomination formed on December 13, 1992, at Sabina Park in Kingston. It merged the Disciples of Christ in Jamaica with the United Church of Jamaica and Grand Cayman (which had previously united Presbyterian and Congregational branches)
The United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands is called to faithfully bear witness to God’s love through worship, discipleship, service, advocacy, and holistic ministry. We are committed to nurturing individuals and communities, promoting justice and peace, and sharing the transforming message of Jesus Christ with all people.
Touching Lives, Nurturing Disciples, Seeking Transformation Through Christ.
Our vision inspires every aspect of our ministry as we seek to make disciples, strengthen communities, and transform lives through the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
