Building Brighter Futures: Inside UCJCI’s Children’s Homes

Additionally, the UCJCI is deeply committed to nurturing, protecting, and empowering our nation’s youth. As a result, through faith, love, and care, UCJCI operates two residential facilities that shelter children needing care and protection.

The Pringle Home for Children (Carron Hall, St. Mary)
Since its founding in 1922, Pringle Home has been Jamaica’s oldest privately owned and managed children’s home. For over a century, it has stood as a beacon of hope, primarily offering a nurturing, secure environment for young girls to heal, grow, and pursue their education.

The Mount Olivet Boys’ Home (Manchester)
Designed as a family-oriented residential facility, Mount Olivet focuses on the holistic development of young boys. Additionally, the home provides these young men with the foundational tools they need to build successful futures.

Both homes offer more than shelter. Additionally, they cultivate a loving Christian community where children receive counseling and spiritual guidance. Additionally, the resources to thrive are provided by the homes.
